Injection molding & tooling, evaluated against your requirements.

Arxline helps U.S. buyers identify independent injection molding manufacturers and mold makers in Vietnam. Tooling and molded-part production should be evaluated together: design for molding, tool ownership, sampling, resin sourcing, and process control all affect the complete scope.

02

How do you evaluate a molding and tooling supplier?

For plastic injection molding, compare the part and mold as one program. Give each candidate the resin, geometry, cosmetic and dimensional requirements, expected volume, tool life, cavity count, and mold ownership terms. Ask who handles mold design and manufacturing, DFM questions, trials, inspection, and sample approval so tooling and production quotes cover the same scope.

  • Part drawings, 3D data, resin grade, and color requirements
  • Cosmetic standards, critical dimensions, and intended use
  • Mold life, cavity count, ownership, and maintenance expectations
  • Sample approval criteria and forecast production volumes

Clarify trials, maintenance, and change control.

Compare how candidate partners approach design-for-molding questions, mold trials, dimensional checks, secondary operations, and tool maintenance or transfer. Arxline coordinates clarification; the buyer approves the tool specification and molded parts.

  • Mold design and toolmaking responsibilities
  • Machine capacity, resin handling, and process monitoring
  • Sampling plans, measurement methods, and change control
  • Tool maintenance, storage, and transfer arrangements
