CNC & precision machining, evaluated against your requirements.
A machine list alone does not establish process capability. Arxline helps U.S. buyers identify independent Vietnamese CNC manufacturers, clarify part requirements, screen relevant machining experience, and coordinate technical questions before quotations are compared. This page concerns parts primarily made by machining; cast-first components have a separate sourcing path.
How do you evaluate a CNC machining supplier?
Start with a controlled drawing, material, critical tolerances, finish, quantities, and first-article or inspection requirements. Ask each independent manufacturer which turning, milling, or multi-axis approach fits the part and how critical dimensions will be measured. Swiss-type work, specific axis counts, or CMM inspection should be confirmed for the candidate and part rather than assumed.
- 2D drawings and 3D models with revision control
- Material grade, heat treatment, and surface finish
- Critical dimensions, tolerances, and inspection requirements
- Prototype quantities, annual demand, and target lead times
Review the proposed machining approach.
Ask candidate manufacturers how they would hold and measure critical features, manage fixturing, document inspection, and coordinate any heat treatment or surface finishing. Arxline helps surface these questions before a buyer approves a supplier.
- Relevant turning, milling, and multi-axis experience
- Fixturing strategy and repeatability for critical features
- Metrology, first-article reporting, and material traceability
- Capacity, subcontracted processes, and production scheduling
